Supplied in Fine condition considering its age, this watch is a must-see for fans of vintage Heuer timepieces. The crown of the watch is correct and bears the standard Heuer signature. Powered by the every reliable Valjoux 7734 manual wind chronograph mechanism and fitted on its original Heuer steel bracelet with folding sports clasp. The dial is dominated by the key 5-minute timer sub-dial, which is larger than normal and features the date feature at 6 o’clock. Its original striking blue dial features contrasting white minute markers, applied silver/white hour markers with some of the original luminous on and vivid orange hands including the chronograph sweeping split-second hand. The Skipper range started off as a Carrera but moved into an Autavia case in the. Set in an unpolished robust 42mm steel “Autavia-style” steel case.
